“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” I will never get tired of quoting this famous phrase by Coco Chanel because I experience it every time I photograph a woman.
I had the pleasure to photograph the beautiful Sara with her mother Maura who came to me to remember and celebrate their special bond and create photographs they could cherish forever. Sara surprised her mom with a very unique gift for Christmas, a photo shoot for both of them … it was the very first time and they were very excited.
Watching not only their beauty and confidence bloom during the session but also their delicate bond, full of love and respect, was truly magical.
Maura thought she wasn’t photogenic, she didn’t like herself in the photos and she wanted me to photograph only her daughter initially … so I said to her:
You don’t have to worry about being photogenic, you simply have to be yourself. You are as beautiful as you are. Let me reveal your true beauty …
